If a man wants to remain hale and hearty, he needs to maintain the
following 9 things: 1) Food 2) Water 3) Rest 4) Sound Sleep 5) Light 6)
Air 7) Cloths 8) Bathing 9) Restraint
Which foods should we take? That can be easily taken and digested but
nutritious. Taking of foods increases from childhood to 40 years.
Again, it decreases from 40 to 60 years in the same manner it increases
from childhood to 40 years.
The foods we take are of six kinds – 1) Protein 2) Fat 3) Carbohydrate 4) Salt 5) Water 6) Vitamin.
1) Food containing protein: Fish, meat, egg, milk, pulse. They fulfill our demand of nutrition and stops decay.
2) Food containing fat: Clarified butter, butter, oil, fat and nut. They form fat in our body, grows useful warmth and strength of hard work.
3) Food containing carbohydrate: Rice, bread, potato, flour, sugar, date increase warmth of our body, working capability, and fat.
4) Food containing salt: Food salt, iron salt, salt containing lime, purifies our blood.
5) Pure drinking water.
6) Food containing vitamin: Vegetable, fruits. Vitamin is of 7 kinds: 1) A 2) B 3) C 4) D 5) E 6) H 7) K
